Campaign rules “Join the Daedalus Online Community and win 500 EUROS”

Art 1. Contest Organizer

The organizer of the campaign is S.C. Daedalus New Media Research SRL, headquartered in Bucharest, Calea Floreasca No. 169, District 1, Tax ID (CUI): 2560656, registered with the Trade Register under No. J2009006306404, bank account RO54INGB0000999902012301 opened at ING Bank, Bucharest, Romania, personal data controller registration number 12502, represented by Laurențiu Serghie, Administrator. The campaign will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of these rules, which are binding on all participants. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these rules, provided that the public is informed in advance.

Art 2. Duration and area of ​​the contest

The contest will run from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The contest is conducted exclusively within the territory of Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia and Serbia.

Art 3. Right of participation

This contest is open to all natural persons who are Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Croatian or Serbian citizens, are at least 18 years of age on the start date of the contest, reside in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia or Serbia, register with the Daedalus Online panel, and meet the other conditions set out in these Rules.

Employees of Daedalus New Media Research and any other persons directly involved in organizing this contest are not eligible to participate.

Art 4. Contest Mechanism

Contest Theme: Join and participate in Daedalus Online surveys and you could win 500 EUROS!

To participate, users must meet the following conditions:

  • Register with the Daedalus Online panel during the campaign period.
  • Confirm their Daedalus Online account.
  • Be Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Croatian or Serbian citizens residing in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia or Serbia.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Respond to at least one survey invitation received from Daedalus Online during the campaign period (January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026).

Each participant may enter the contest using only one account. If the Organizer identifies multiple accounts belonging to the same participant, it reserves the right to cancel both the accounts and the participant’s entries.

The winner will be contacted by email, and their name will be published on the website after the prize has been awarded.

Art 5. The contest prize and its award

One annual prize worth 500 EUROS will be awarded as part of the contest.

The winner will receive the prize amount (500 EUROS) via bank transfer.

To receive the prize, the respondent must provide personal information in their Daedalus Online account so that the Organizer can transfer the prize amount. The required financial information includes: First name, Last name, Address, Personal Identification Number, Phone number,  IBAN, Bank name.

The winner’s personal data is required because the prize payment must be reported to the Tax Administration and for the payment of income tax, which will be fully covered by the Organizer.

Prize payments can only be made by bank transfer to a current account.

Art 6. Designation of the winner

  1. The winner will be selected through a random draw on January 8, 2027.
  2. The Organizer is required to notify the winner by email on the day of the draw.
  3. The Organizer will attempt to contact the winner by email up to three times.
  4. If the winner does not claim the prize (fails to respond to the email, refuses the prize, or does not comply with the conditions and deadlines set out in these rules) within 10 days of the last notification, they will be considered an invalid winner and will lose all rights to the prize. The unclaimed prize will then be available to the next winner selected in the draw.
  5. If the winner does not claim the prize under the conditions and within the deadlines specified in these rules, the Organizer will draw another winner. If the subsequently selected winner also fails to respond within the deadlines specified herein, the Organizer reserves the right not to conduct any further draws, and the prize will remain unawarded.

Art 7. Apple

We expressly declare that Apple is not involved in this contest and is not a sponsor.

Art 8. Litigation

Any disputes that may arise between the Organizer and participants will first be resolved amicably. If an amicable resolution is not possible, the parties agree to submit the dispute to the competent courts of Romania.

Art 10. Taxes and Fees

The Organizer undertakes to pay the tax due on the income represented by the prize awarded to the winner as a result of this campaign, in accordance with the provisions of the Romanian Fiscal Code. Any other fiscal obligations or obligations of any other nature related to the prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.
